The Ombudsperson’s Office for Transitional Justice held a meeting today with the Speaker of the People’s Majlis, President Mohamed Nasheed.
During this meeting held at the Secretariat of the People’s Majlis, ombudspersons briefed President Nasheed on the progress and updates of work of the office. Additionally, ombudspersons also discussed about the challenges faced at work place with President Nasheed.
President Nasheed assured and cooperation from the People’s Majlis to our office in the execution of our functions.
All the ombudspersons along with Director General, Ahmed Yameen, Head of Technical Support, Uza. Fathimath Naffath Abdul Wahhaab and Public Relations Executive, Aishath Fathuhy joined this meeting.
