The Ombudsperson’s Office for Transitional Justice held a virtual meeting today with the Maldives Media Council.
The purpose of this meeting was to introduce our office and discuss on possible assistance from MMC on our work related to media campaign and public awareness.
Chief Ombudsperson, Uz. Abdul Salaam Arif along with Ombudsperson, Uza. Jihadha Anees, Ombudsperson, Mariyam Laiza, Head of Technical Support, Uza. Fathimath Naffath Abdul Wahhaab and Public Relations Executive, Aishath Fathuhy were joined for this meeting by the president of the Maldives Media Council, Sahubaan Fahumy and members, Ahmed Moosa, Ibrahim Fauzy, Hassan Shakir Mohamed, Mohamed Ignaz Ali, Mohamed Shafau Hassa and Shafaath Habeeb, Secretary General, Dr. Ibrahim Sameer, Director General, Fathimath Muna and Legal Officer, Uza. Fathmath Fahmy.
