Second Session of Training on Investigative Skills Conducted for OTJ’s Staff

The second session of the investigative skills training program for investigators of the Office of the Ombudsman for Transitional Justice (OTJ) was held today. The session was moderated by Hajer Bouyahia, Human Rights Officer, Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR).

During the training, the participants were explained the importance of obtaining and maintaining all relevant documents and how to collect all relevant documents before conducting the investigation. In addition, participants were explained the need to analyze the data collected, find out the root cause, and conduct a thorough analysis to conduct the investigation.

This is the second session in a series of trainings to enrich the skills of the investigators.
